At the Peak II Foundation, our mission is to give back to society by supporting underprivileged families, with a special focus on educational opportunities for children and the elderly. We believe that when individuals gain confidence and the tools to grow, they can shape meaningful futures at every stage of life.

Since 2021, our founder Terry Hu has been a strong supporter of the Adream Foundation. Beginning in September 2023, he placed particular emphasis on the “Golden Dreamers” initiative—an innovative program designed to provide education, emotional growth, and empowerment for seniors.

About the “Golden Dreamers” Initiative

“Golden Dreamers” aims to help older adults rebuild meaningful connections—with themselves, with others, with their communities, and with the evolving world around them. The project encourages seniors to embrace their later years with confidence, calmness, and dignity, rediscovering purpose and fulfillment.

A flagship program within this initiative is the “Wonderful Life Stories” group course, an eight‑week journey structured around seven core life themes. As of October 2025, the initiative has successfully completed its 8th cohort.

Participant Profile & Impact
  • Average age: 53 (oldest 77)
  • Male participants: 15%
  • Education levels: From middle school to doctoral degree

The course supports seniors in:

  • Appreciating and affirming their life experiences
  • Healing from emotional pain
  • Strengthening positive interactions
  • Building deep and lasting friendships
  • Gaining clarity and optimism about their future
  • Reigniting interest in long‑held or unfinished dreams
Sustainability Through Volunteer Leadership

A core philosophy emphasized by Terry Hu is sustainability. To ensure the long‑term vitality of the program, senior graduates are encouraged to become volunteer facilitators.

Volunteer Facilitator Team
  • 26 trained facilitators
  • Average age: 50 (oldest 63)
  • Each contributes: 60 volunteer hours
  • Total service hours: 1,080

From April to September 2024, the Golden Dreamers team also held four facilitator training workshops, totaling 16 additional training hours, further strengthening the project’s community capacity.

Looking Ahead: Building an Empowered Senior Community

The Peak II Foundation will continue supporting the Adream Foundation’s Golden Dreamers initiative, with the goal of:

  • Deepening connections among community seniors
  • Encouraging more older adults to join as “Golden Volunteers”
  • Cultivating a supportive and thriving senior community
  • Promoting lifelong learning and emotional resilience

As 2025 approaches, we look forward to sharing our progress and insights in our upcoming report—celebrating the resilience, dreams, and renewed vitality of our seniors.

Together, we continue to inspire a brighter future—one golden story at a time.
