Dreaming Big: Adream Foundation 2024 Annual Report Conference

Let’s join hands to build a brighter future!

What does it take to change a child’s future? Sometimes, it starts with a single room.

Since 2021, Peak II Foundation Founder Terry Hu has supported the Adream Foundation — one of China’s leading charitable organisations dedicated to transforming education in rural communities. In 2024, Mr. Hu deepened that commitment by donating to Adream’s Golden Dreamer Project, which extends the Foundation’s reach beyond children to include educational programmes for the elderly and support services for special-needs groups.

On 21 April 2025, Mr. Hu was invited to attend the Adream Foundation’s 2024 Annual Report Conference, where he joined a roundtable discussion as a guest speaker — sharing his perspective on why education remains the most powerful multiplier for social change.

Why Peak II Supports Adream

The Adream Foundation builds “Dream Centres” — dedicated learning spaces inside rural schools that replace rote-learning classrooms with environments designed for exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. For children in communities where resources are scarce and horizons feel small, these centres open a door to a different kind of future — one where curiosity is encouraged and confidence is built from the inside out.

This philosophy runs parallel to Peak II Foundation’s own mission. Whether we are funding sewing skills training for mothers in Sham Shui Po, organising workshops for elderly residents in Hong Kong, or supporting Dream Centres in rural China, the core belief is the same: when you invest in a person’s ability to learn and grow, you don’t just change one life — you set off a chain reaction that reaches their family, their community, and beyond.

Mr. Hu’s involvement with Adream reflects a conviction he has carried since founding Peak II: that education is not simply about transferring knowledge. It is about unlocking the confidence to dream — and the capability to act on those dreams.

A Partnership That Spans Generations

What makes the Peak II–Adream partnership distinctive is its breadth. Through the Golden Dreamer Project, support reaches not only children in rural schools, but also elderly learners and individuals with special needs — populations that are often overlooked by traditional education initiatives.

This aligns directly with Peak II Foundation’s commitment to empowering individuals of all ages. In Hong Kong, we work with mothers, children, and the elderly. Through Adream, that same belief extends across the border — investing in the idea that no one is ever too young, too old, or too far from opportunity to benefit from learning.
