Reflections on Our First Volunteer Recruitment | 22 July 2025
Every journey begins with a moment when intention turns outward.
On 22 July 2025, Peak II Foundation opened its first volunteer recruitment, marking a quiet but meaningful step in the foundation’s early journey. It was the moment we first invited participation beyond our initial circle—welcoming others who wished to grow, learn, and serve alongside us.
At the time, many of the paths our volunteers would later walk were still taking shape. What mattered most was not yet what they would do, but why they might choose to show up. Volunteering, at its heart, is an act of trust—a willingness to offer time and presence, even before the outcomes are clear.
This first recruitment represented a shift from planning to shared involvement, from intention to collaboration. It reminded us that communities are not built through structures alone, but through people who choose to step forward, especially at the beginning.
Peak II Foundation had been formally established only months earlier. Looking back, this initial recruitment stands as a quiet milestone—not because of numbers or immediate results, but because it signaled the start of a growing circle of care.

2025年7月22日，崇嶺基金會展開了首次義工招募，這是一個低調卻重要的時刻——標誌着基金會第一次向更廣大的社群發出邀請，讓更多人有機會參與往後的同行旅程。

崇嶺基金會於同年2月正式成立。回望這次招募，它或許並不起眼，卻是重要的一步。因為每一個有力量的行動，都是由最初的參與慢慢累積而來。
